Xavier has a 22+ years of Marketing, Sales, and Venue management experience. He began his career working for the largest Hispanic Advertising Agency in the US, quickly working his way up as the Network Negotiator for the Procter and Gamble AOR. Xavier seized a position as National Sales Executive, he went from working at the largest Hispanic Advertising Agency to the number one Spanish Language Network Univision. His responsibilities were servicing Advertising Agencies in the Texas Region and handling Blue Chip clients. Xavier’s annual sales quickly grew and so did his aspirations. In 2004, SMG hired Villalón as Director of Marketing and Corporate Sales for the American Bank Center, an Arena, Convention Center, and Auditorium in Corpus Christi Texas. Villalón successfully oversaw the Sales, PR and Marketing of the multipurpose venue. Villalón sold several million dollars of arena sponsorships, arena suites, and club memberships. In 2010, Villalón was hired as GM of the Laredo Energy Arena a 10,000 seat Arena. For 8 years, he exceeded client expectations by beating annual budgets and booking several hundred concerts and Special Events. In addition to successfully overseeing all departments, he developed sales’ programs that brought in several million dollars, including the selling of the naming rights the last month of his employment.
